Today’s ten dollar word : discretio (자유) 재량(권)

If someone in a position of authority uses their discretion or has the discretion to do something in a particular situation, they have the freedom and authority to decide what to do.

 

While granting the government maximum discretion to take action against whatever they deem to be foreign interference, Fica provides very little independent oversight, and leaves targeted individuals or entities very few options to challenge measures imposed upon them.

 

Fica는 정부에게 외세 간섭이라고 여겨지는 어떤 것에라도 조치를 취할 수 있도록 최대한의 재량권을 부여하는 한편, Fica는  독립 관리 시스템(조치)을 거의 규정/마련하지 않아, 대상 개인이나 단체에 부과된 조치에 이의를 제기 할 수 있는 선택권이 그들에게는 거의 없다.
